Champions and Heroes: Love is about forgiving

I have yet to hear a good reason as to why the release date of Mass Effect 3 varied depending on where you lived. The frustration just made me want to download the game, which I can't imagine was what the company was going for.
But more importantly:
You may remember fav.me/d4oe1eo where I, in the comment section, said "I have a dream, that one day Bioware will include companions such as 'undeniably butch gay man'". Well. His name is Steve Cortez and he is your shuttle pilot in Mass Effect 3, where you only have 6 squad members so he sort of counts as your almost 7th. You help him deal with the loss of his husband and if you are a dude, and only if you are a dude, you can romance him.
The first conversation with him resulted in me alerting people who once knew me of my discovery. It was the first life sign since I started playing the game XD

pointed out that Samantha Traynor is a lesbian too, but I didn't pick up on her in game. Because I was too renegade for her liking or something XD

I can't imagine romancing Cortez, because of his vulnerable emotional state, but even so.
